Environmentally Friendly Parking Lots

Eliminate regulations that require that parking lots be paved with asphalt or concrete. A few parking spaces should be paved smooth for handicap accessibility, but the other spaces should be covered with gravel. It would provide a substrate with high surface area for biodegration of oils that drip from vehicles. It would also slow down storm water runoff, and promote groundwater recharge.
